Three women of a family found dead in Krishna district


In a suspected suicide pact, three women from a family allegedly ended their lives at Anantaipeta village of Gudur mandal in Krishna district on Saturday
The deceased have been identified as Rajani (60), her daughter Gowri (40), and Rajani’s daughter-in-law Madhu (30).

The neighbours alerted the police, however, the reason behind the extreme step is yet to be known. Meanwhile, residents of Anantaipeta reportedly suspect that family disputes might have led to the incident.

The Gudur police shifted the bodies to government hospital mortuary for post mortem, and an investigation is under way.
